MEAD HAS ALWAYS LOVED THE NIGHT SKY. As a small boy he would watch the stars and first satalites circle the earth in the clear Arizons Skys. Arizona because, of its clear skys and open expancess, has over 20 professional obsevatorys. Mead has pesonally visited some of the top, viewing the stars throught telescopes that are computor operated. "It magic" says Mead to watch the whole dome turn and the giant scopes raise and lower.
